I’m Carlie, a photographer based in Sydney and the Central Coast with a deep love for capturing people, connection and the moments that feel most like you.

 

I began my photography journey in the world of live music and concerts, documenting artists onstage, backstage and everywhere in between. Those years taught me how to read a room, anticipate emotion, work with unpredictable light and move quietly through fast‑paced environments. Most importantly, they taught me how to capture real moments as they unfold, the unposed, the electric and the honest.

 

Over the past few years, my work has evolved into lifestyle, weddings and commercial photography. The shift felt natural, the same instinct for storytelling and the same love of candid emotion, just in new spaces with new kinds of intimacy. Whether I’m photographing a couple, a family, a brand or a full wedding day, my approach is always relaxed, unobtrusive and guided by beautiful natural light.

 

I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel comfortable, celebrated and truly seen. My work is inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming and shaped by experience supporting neurodiverse clients with flexible, thoughtful arrangements that honour individual needs.
